Our Injection Molding Capbilities
What’s Injection Molding?
Injection molding is a process in which materials are heated and melted and injected into molds to cool to obtain models.According to the processed materials, it can be divided into rubber injection molding and plastic injection molding.Injection molding is divided into the following three types:
Main Injection Molding materials
- PMMA (Acrylic)
- ABS
- PA (Nylon Polyamide)
- PC (Polycarbonate)
- PE (Polyethylene)
- POM (Delrin)
- PP (Polypropylene)
- TPE(Themoplastic Elastomer)
- TPU
(Themoplastic Polyurethane) - PC /ABS
PMMA is currently one of the most transparent varieties of plastics, with outstanding aging resistance and chemical stability, good insulation and processability, compared with ordinary inorganic glass, reflecting the characteristics of light weight and high toughness, has been widely used in agriculture, aviation, architecture, optical instruments, lamp decoration and other fields.
ABS plastic is non-toxic and odorless, generally opaque, light ivory, and can be made into any other color product with high luster through coloring. It is a “tough, hard, rigid” material with good comprehensive performance, cheap price and wide use, and has been widely used in machinery, electrical, textile, automobile, aircraft, ship and other manufacturing industries and chemical industries.
PA(Nylon) is an engineering plastic with excellent performance, with excellent mechanical properties, outstanding corrosion resistance, oil resistance, heat resistance, high modulus and other advantages. Its enhanced and flame retardant modification can significantly improve its heat resistance, modulus dimensional stability and flame retardancy, and is widely used in automotive, electronic and electrical, power tools and other industries.
PC has excellent electrical properties, low water absorption, good light transmittance, visible light transmittance can reach more than 90%, is the only variety with good transparency among the five general engineering plastics, widely used in electronic appliances, carriers, automotive parts, medical equipment, construction, textiles and packaging and other fields.
PE is a thermoplastic resin prepared by polymerization of ethylene, which is a typical crystalline polymer with a melting point of 130 °C ~ 145 °C, which is characterized by odorless, odorless, non-toxic, matte surface, milky white waxy particles.
POM is a non-toxic, hard, dense material with a smooth and shiny surface for automotive parts, instrumentation, machine tools, etc. It has high strength and stiffness, and its mechanical properties are very similar to metal materials. It has slightly weaker impact resistance than ABS and PS plastics, excellent wear resistance and good self-lubrication.
It is mainly used in gears and bearings, excellent fatigue resistance, fatigue strength up to 35MPa, higher than PA and PC materials, excellent electrical insulation, not affected by temperature and humidity.
PP is a polymer formed by polyaddition of propylene. It is a white waxy material with a transparent and light appearance. It has excellent flexibility and bending fatigue life, cheap price, but not resistant to ultraviolet rays, easy yellowing and aging, so it is not suitable for long-term application in outdoor environments.
TPE (Thermoplastic elastomer) is a polymer material that combines plastic and rubber characteristics, showing high elasticity of rubber at room temperature, and plasticizing at high temperature (no need for vulcanization). It has high elasticity, high strength, high resilience of rubber, and environmental protection and non-toxicity, good colorability, wide hardness range, weather resistance, soft touch, fatigue resistance, temperature resistance and many other advantages. The appearance is natural, black, translucent or transparent round grain particles. TPE materials can be processed and molded by injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, salivation, pouring, etc.
TPU is referred to as polyurethane, which has excellent performance and can become soft under a certain degree of heat, and can remain unchanged at room temperature. Wide range of hardness, with the increase of hardness, its products still maintain good elasticity and wear resistance, high mechanical strength, outstanding cold resistance, and good processing performance. At the same time, it has high waterproofness, moisture permeability, windproof, antibacterial, mildew-proof, warmth, anti-ultraviolet and other properties.
PC is a thermoplastic engineering plastic with high mechanical, optical, electrical and thermal properties. This extremely tough, easy-to-process polymer is suitable for a wide range of applications: for example, household appliances, automotive lamps, medical instruments and packaging containers.
ABS plastic is a kind of “tough, hard, rigid” material with easy raw materials, good comprehensive performance, cheap price and wide range of uses. ABS plastics have been widely used in machinery, electrical, textile, automobile, aircraft, ship and other manufacturing industries and chemical industries.
